Highland Recreation Complex is an outstanding destination for families looking for an affordable day filled with fun and excitement. One of the highlights of our visit was the exciting waterslides, which were fast, fun, and kept everyone smiling all day long. The kids absolutely loved the splash pad and the dedicated play area with its smaller slides, giving them a safe and exciting place to cool off and have a great time. I was also impressed by how affordable everything was, making it easy for families to enjoy a full day of entertainment without spending a fortune. The lifeguards and slide operators were friendly, attentive, and professional, helping create a safe environment while keeping the attractions running smoothly. The entire facility was clean, welcoming, and well maintained, creating a wonderful atmosphere for visitors of all ages. Brought My kids here for the first swimming session when it opened at 10a.m only to find the pool was dirty 😑 with green algae (mold like) growing in the corner of the big pool, with the big slides and a Brown thick line around the pool🤢 When I called to let someone know the lady seemed a little defensive , letting me know that the pool was cleaned on a regular basis my phone call was then forwarded to someone else , which was answered by a voicemail where the problem was never solved I guess... My kids love it here. I just hope you guys can get it taken care of soon before someone gets sick

I use the moderately equiped gym to work out and the upstairs, indoor walking track to get my steps in relative comfort. This facility offers very reasonable rates for use of all or individual parts of the large building and kid friendly pool and water park area. There are outdoor walking trails and it is adjacent to another local park with a lake. There are outdoor tennis courts, exercise area, baseball field, outdoor and indoor basketball courts that are at times converted into pickle ball or badminton courts. A large indoor play area for younger children is also available. Lots of self help and exercise classes are available. As well as private training instructors if you prefer individual attention. Contact Highland Recreational Center for a complete list of times, fees and things to do. And definitely have fun!

Great family recreation center with playworld area for kids that my daughter loves which is located inside for those upcoming hot summer days. They also have an outdoor play area that is very cool and unique in design. You could say its out of this world 🌎. They have an awesome pool area that is expected to open around mother's day again and the membership which is very affordable makes all of the paid activities a discounted rate. Enjoy 😉

Let's talk about the walking trails just North of the Highland Complex. There are several walking trails lined with shell and asphalt. The asphalt trails circle the lake where you can find lots of waterfowl such as rosette spoonbill, mallard ducks , swamp hens and even turtles!! 75% shade depending on the time of day.
